Our host lives locally and keeps the apartment in pristine condition, a fully equipped kitchen & laundry makes preparation a breeze. The integrated fridge provides plenty of storage for those dine in days!
The large sunlit dining room provides a great space to dine, work or play. Upon request our host can also provide a frozen meal to warm up on arrival – a very caring additional option that you can add to your stay !
The contrasting palette of rusted ochre and sage green continues with the use of a plethora of live plants, providing a beautiful biophilic atmosphere to the entire apartment. The use of this earthy sage green hue is subtle throughout the interior as seen in the alcove library wall, ottoman, cushions and even the hand glazed dinner plates.

Many functional and vintage design elements are curated throughout the apartment, connected by the use of black architectural hardware and lineal composition.
The rust walls of the terrace focus your attention to the terracotta French clay roof tiles in the courtyard and surrounds. Connecting the private to the public space.
The intimate terrace allows you to enjoy an outdoor space which has been particularly lovely in fine weather. The apartment is located a five-minute walk to the train station, with all the city’s sights within walking distance. Today we finish the trip with a visit to the Centre Pompidou Metz – just around the corner!

The use of wainscotting in the lounge room paired with an ochre alcove book shelves – makes the lounge room appear larger and creates a sense of refined elegance.

Our host is extremely responsive and provides plenty of local ideas services, restaurants and recommended places to visit. Her communication was outstanding and key to our local connection, as we immersed into French culture – more than anything we loved her sense of style and the joy found in every corner of this Tres Chic Airbnb!
