Waratah is an Aboriginal word meaning beautiful. It symbolizes courage and strength and is a beacon of colour in the Australian bush. Waratah’s hold much symbolism in Indigenous culture, it gives people strength, tenacity, adaptability, strong faith and courage to cope with challenges and brings survival skills to the fore . Wandering Waratah captures this symbolic strength and courage in bold graphic form and composition, enlivening and empowering the spaces it resides in and the people that experience it.
